Adopt-A-Street

A little together is a LOT!

About 8,300 million tonnes of virgin plastics have been produced since large-scale production first started in the 1920’s. Of this, 6,300 million tonnes became waste. 9% was recycled, 12% was incinerated, and 79% is now polluting our roads, streets and natural environment.

Imagine if a single person or community group adopted a street and kept it clean of litter and plastic? Imagine if that happened everywhere!

Adopt-A-Street is a programme to empower individuals to help effect the world in which they live.

We started in the small village of Harlington and now adjacent villages have already joined us!

TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

Select your village or town from the list below of participating villages who are now part of the ever-growing Litter Pickers and Pie Club.
